Vestry Meeting Minutes
June 24, 2010

Attendance:  Staff- the Rev Randy Dunnavant and Holly Vera Gay

Members: Steve Grindon,  Morry Ellis, Patty Britt, Tom Hailey, Mark Baron, Rich Van Etten,  Chris Olson,  Dave Antypas , Kim Terry

Treasurer: Paul Eggers

Absent:  Rick James, Karen Marinov, Allison Rolston

The  Vestry  opened  with  prayer  at  6:03pm lead by  Steve Grindon,  Mark Baron offered to lead at July  2010  meeting.

The   Minutes for the June Vestry meeting were presented and approved.

Randy   gave an update on attendance for first time visitor list. The Church has had 50 new households to attend this year to date. He encouraged everyone to continue to be open and hospitable.

Youth   Ministry:  Holy and the youth did volunteer work at the Ronald McDonald House near Vanderbilt.

Financial Report:  Paul Eggers gave us the April and May 2010 Treasurer’s reports.  There was a motion and approval for both reports.

Commission Reports and Planning: There was discussion about inviting different inspirational speakers; and our new outreach with Kingston school.  Morry continued   to work at scheduling Vestry members to support Clergy between Sunday services.  There was discussion as to different Fall Church Activities to consider. There were volunteers who offered to check with The City of Brentwood and Fire Department pertaining to Licenses and permits required for an outdoor fire for “s’mores” and hot dogs

The TN Layman’s Conference is weekend of Aug 29.

There was a motion and approval to adjourn.  Closing Prayers were read by all.  

The Meeting adjourned at 7:30.
