Are you even having live services?
Yes! We currently have masked, socially-distanced Holy Eucharist in the sanctuary at 11 AM. Please arrive masked. If you do not have one, one will be made available to you at the door, where we have hand sanitizer available as well. At the door, an usher will take your temperature using a forehead thermometer. If your temperature reads at or below 98.6° F, you will be shown to a space in a pew. Pews are roped off into socially-distanced sections–there will be no one sitting 6 ft. in front of, behind, or to either side of you. Please keep your mask on throughout the duration of the service. |
Is the liturgy different now?
The liturgy is currently without music, but we are still celebrating Holy Eucharist. We ask that you wait until the row before you has gone up, and to maintain the 6 ft. distance in the queue. When it is your turn, please apply the hand sanitizer available on the pedestal before approaching. As you approach Mthr. Natalie, she will bless the host (wafer). If you would like the clergy to intinct (dip) the host, please nod, and it will be passed to the assisting clergy and then placed in your hands. Then you may take it back to your seat, where it can be consumed safely.
